No Shopping September!
I overspent in August. Wayy over spent. I have thought a lot about putting myself on a strict no shopping austerity program but I have failed epically each time. Now is where YOU come in. I am hoping that this blog will allow me to express my love of fashion without buying something. I hope that this blog guides me to utilize what I already have in my closet and make amazing outfits accordingly.
I am very much of an impulse shopper. For example, I walk into Target to get cereal and deodorant and I walk out with polka dot skinny pants and a floral tank top. Did I need it? No. Did I have to have it? In my mind yes, but not really. Ideally I'd like to only add to my closet essentials and additions that will increase the way I can style that floral tank top I bought 6 months ago, so I am able to pass up the one I didn't need in Target.
This is going to be a challenge for me, and one I might fail. That doesn't mean I can't try!

Hi there!
I am Heidi and this is my piece of the internet, two.one.five. What's with the name, you ask? Simple. Born in England, moved to the Philadelphia area at 2 and then moved into the city about 2 years ago. Us Philly folk like to represent, hence two.one.five. I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now but I have been intimidated by the hundreds of other fashion and lifestyle blogs out there. With that said, I am giving it a shot because even if no one reads it I think it will be fun to play around and work on something unique to me. Please mind the appearance of this blog as it is very much under construction. I'd compare it to a freshman on their first day of high school trying to look cool but failing epically. I still remember my first day of high school look and it was a mess!
So with two.one.five there are some things you're going to see and some things you're not. I am not going to be modeling my outfits and going somewhere to pose and look all model-esque. While I appreciate the other bloggers doing that, it's not my style. You will be seeing a lot of the things I have found to add to my closet, things I will be purging from my closet and I am sure many pictures of my dog, Violet photo bombing my pictures. That's ok though, because she is really cute! I also will be posting a lot of my ventures in Philadelphia going to different events throughout the city.
So sit back, relax and enjoy this ride with me. Please feel free to say Hi and let me know what you think!

Check out these boots I found for FIFTEEN DOLLARS at the Steve Madden Store on my lunch break yesterday;
I need to figure out how I am going to wear them. Options, 1. lace them all the way up OR 2. halfway, wrap the lace around the boot and have the top open.
and THESE beauts for $15 too! My jaw dropped. I was so excited. I asked the associate, "These are seriously $15?" and when they brought them out in an 8 I didn't even have to try them on. My mind started styling them right away. I was wearing cropped jeans at the time and they looked so cute with them.
I didn't intend on buying anything. Violet chewed up Mike's Steven Madden boots that he loved. So I went in there to see if there were any sales to help find him a replacement. I happened to wander over to the women's sale section and it was just meant to be!
